SRv6

Ms. Kang Xingyuan, Mr. Papon Choonhaklai, and Mr. Kota Nakagawa each presented thier individual research in the Technical Paper session at CENTRA 2025 in Hsinchu, Taiwan (CENTRA 8). First, as the opening speaker in Technical Paper session, Ms. Kang Xingyuan presented her research titled “Investigating the Impact of Data Storage Mechanisms on Distributed Software-Defined Networking Controllers Performance” to the audience. On November 13, 2024, Kota Nakagawa from our laboratory presented his research at IEICE Technical Committee on Internet Architecture (IA). He introduced his research titled “A Proposal of Optimizing Path Selection Based on INT Delay Measurement”, which proposed a method for selecting low-latency paths using In-band Network Telemetry (INT) and SRv6. His presentation was recognized with a Student Research Award.

Wei Zheyuan, a second-year master’s student in our laboratory, presented his research at IPSJ SIG Internet and Operation Technology (IOT). He introduced his research titled “A Proposal of Path Selection Method by SRv6 for Optimizing Multipath QUIC Performance,” which proposed a model to optimize Multipath QUIC transmission performance by SRv6, and received a Student Research Award.

Mr. Tomoki Sugiura of our laboratory presented a paper entitled “Acar: An application-aware network routing system using SRv6” at IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference (CCNC2022), held from January 8 to 11, 2022. In this presentation, we introduced our research achievements on determining optimal routes for each application focusing on latency and throughput, and SRv6-based control methods based on these optimal routes.
